My happiness is 

Wherever I find it 

And I wanna find it with you

It’s a special day here at Max and Emily’s.  For the first time in our history, we are having a full on rock show inside the deli.  We have speakers and monitors, mic stands and a soundboard.  Its been making me smile since Henry, Doug and I loaded in and set it up yesterday afternoon.  I wish that we were outside today.  I wish that the grill was serving up chicken fajitas.  I wish I could see you dancing again.  I have wished for so long, I still wish for you today.

My friend Jeff Daniels says “the show must go on,”  so let’s rock this.  Tonight at 7pm, right here on Facebook live, Max & Emily’s 2020 Summer Concert Series Presents The Verve Pipe.  One night only, one incredibly special night live in your living room.  Live on your phone.  Live on your iPad.  Live and in person wherever you are.  You might be in Mt Pleasant, or Brighton, Alaska, or Koge, Denmark.  I’ll pretend you’re here with me if you will.

None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for our friends at Isabella Bank, Downtown Mt Pleasant, CMU, Mt Pleasant Convention and Visitors Bureau, and of course Max & Emily’s.  We all believe that music, community, fellowship, dancing, great food, and time together make our community a better place.  I am grateful to everyone involved to make this happen tonight.  Please, when you see a member of these great institutions give them a social distancing air hug and let them know how much you appreciate their dedication to the Summer Concert (Series).
