Rules and regulations.

Starting today, when you dine in we are required by law to take your first and last name and your phone number.  If you go to Mt Town, if you go to O’Kelly’s you are required by law to give your first and last name and phone number.  Want to go to Gratzi or Idli Dosa in Midland, same thing.  Hit up Yesterdog in Grand Rapids, same thing.   You get the picture, this is a statewide law and we follow the law.

We are not naive, this is going to upset some of you.  That is completely within your right to be bothered by it.  Drives you so mad you want to yell and scream, you probably shouldn’t go out to eat for a while then.  Because we are required by law, and I would really really like to stay in business in 2021.  If you come in and start complaining and yelling and refusing to help us comply with the law, you will be asked to leave.  We really don’t want to do that, but there are doors on both the north and south side of the building and you will be told to use either one.  We are without a choice in this.  Please don’t take your personal anger out on us complying with the law.  We are trying to work, trying to survive, trying to make a living.  We would love to have you here with us enjoying great food, but rules are rules.  Be kind.

This is not the forum for anger and political debating of the issue.  Save that for your personal Facebook page, or Twitter, or the Tiktok (hi Amanda!), or your local work place water cooler.   So please, be nice in the comments section here today.   We are simply following the law.   Be kind.

Todays lyric is one I have used the most this year.  It’s timeless and important.  It’s from my friend John.

All you need is love.  Love is all you need.
