Its been a minute since I wrote to you, but thats life on earth.  As I get older, as the hair gets more white strands, ive grown to learn that things dont aways go according to plan.   Thats life I guess, roll with the punches, adapt, accept, move forward.  Sometimes the plan isnt part of the plan.

Were open again for dine in, six tables and twenty two seats for the public.  We can be at capacity with 22 people, or with 6.  We are working harder than ever trying to keep everyone safe.  When we first “reopened” I wasn’t sure how it was going to work to be honest.  We dont have dedicated staff to clean tables in the dining room, its always been guests that bused their own table.  time to change the plan.  But now, my goodness the team here are on top of it.  Skye, Brandy, Bryan, Vince, Danny, Soph, Kasi, our great GM Kat are so aware of when a table becomes open.  washing the table and each chair.  Im so proud of them, they care so much about you.   About us here.  They make this place and me better.

Ive had a lot of people ask how much of a difference being open at 25% makes.  Its a fair question, and it means a lot that you are thinking about us.  Not just by coming in and buying a sandwich, but by checking in on us.  Asking the team how they are doing mentally.  Thank you for your love, we are human and going through something we never anticipated.  I know they are scared but here they are everyday working not for me but for you.  So if 25% means that a few more guest stop by to check on this great team, ill take it.

ill leave you with this thought today for the next time you dine in at a restaurant.  We all work our butts off everyday for something bigger than ourselves.  we do it for our guests who we dont view as a dollar sign, they are our family and friends.  and right now we are doing it with a lot more personal heath concerns.  So tell your waiter, tell the hostess, the young kid bussing the table how much you appreciate them.  Tell them thank you.  tell them thanks for being there tonight for you.   your kind words can move mountains right now.

Todays lyric comes from my friend Sameer.

And when the seasons change

Will you stand my me.
