This is a tough one for us, for all of us restauranteurs and bar owners.  Our love for our guests cannot be put into words.  You all are the reason we are here, the reason we work 12 hour days, the reason we love what we do. How do we successfully shut down, how do we stay open for take out only, how do we continue to be there for our community, how to be there for our staff?  It’s not about us, it is about the greater safety of our guests, our community, and our tremendous team here at Max & Emily’s.  It is 100% terrifying.  

We will be closing today at 3pm as directed by the Governor.  For today we will be take out only, no dine in and no delivery.  There are going to be limitations to what we can do, so please call ahead if possible.  This is all uncharted territory.  This was never a conversation that Tim and I had, never a scenario we thought possible.  We’re going to do the best we can to help as many people as possible.  

Tomorrow we are, at least for now, going to be open for takeout or call in takeout only from 11-2.  We will worry about Wednesday, Wednesday. 

Queen Elsa, we could use a little magic right now.  So here we go friends, into the unknown.
