New hours, new rules.

We are open for take out only, Monday - Sunday from 11-2.  We will continue to have chicken dumpling soup everyday, until it runs out.  So if you’re cold and want a killer cup of chicken dumpling….don’t call at 1:45!  Order online..sure can.  Want us to drop it off curbside, we can do that too!  Want to eat at the table in the dining room…..no way Jose!

On Monday I had a guest give me a call, I’m not going to use their name on here, but a good human.  He asked if I would charge his card and take some sandwiches over to Dog Central.  This guest also called up my friend Paul at Dog Central and asked the same thing of them.  So at 11:25, Paul walks in with yummy DC and the staff are overjoyed.  Thank you friend, you made two business and a lot of staff feel very loved.  Thank you for your kindness.

I have had several people reach out and check up on me, check up on the staff.  Thank you for reaching out, it really does mean a lot.  We are scared, nervous, annoyed, and hopeful.  We don’t know what will happen next, no one does.  We can only control what we can control, and have to understand that things are going to change..sometimes daily.  Focus, do our jobs, be flexible, and be here for our guests.  That’s what we can do.

So thank you to everyone who’s reached out.  A friend from Florida, or Kentucky.  Chicago and Alaska.  Just down the street, or a thoughtful text from Pickard.  No hugs though Julie, elbow bumps are good though :)  We will figure it out.  Until then, I adore you.
